For as long as I can remember Maybelline has always been friendly to us darker skinned women. From their foundations to concealers and powders, it’s easy to find products for your perfect match!

Cover FX

Cover FX has done an amazing job with their products that meet the needs of deeper skin tones. One thing I particularly love about their products, especially their foundations, is that they cater to undertones most brands do not.

L.A. Girl 

If you haven’t heard of this brand then you’ve been living under a rock; but if you have then you definitely know why they have made it onto this list! L.A. Girl provides the best color range of concealers I have ever seen which are all great in quality and even greater in price!

Black Up

Where my oily skinned melanin girls and guys!? This one is for YOU. Black Up is one of many brands that was designed to cater to women/men of color. What I love the most about Black Up is that majority of their products are formulated to combat oily skin.

Bobbi Brown

Bobbi Brown has done a phenomenal job when it comes to meeting the needs of women and men of color. What I have noticed is that there are almost an equal amount of shades for all skin tones. As we melanin guys and girls know when it comes to shopping for makeup there are at least two different shades that can potentially be your match. However with Bobbi Brown that isn’t the case; there is something tailored just for YOU!
